Training & Clinical Supervision

The Center for Integrated Behavioral Health (CIBH) is excited to introduce a comprehensive post-Masters degree training and supervision program designed to fulfill supervised hours towards a License as a Professional Counselor (LPC). With free supervision provided by Licensed Psychologists and Professional Counselors, this program offers an exceptional opportunity for professional growth.

The training curriculum offers an immersive experience with a focus on Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior Therapies, encompassing 1.5 hours of weekly didactic and skills-based training. Trainees will learn the core principles of third wave behavioral therapies, with a particular emphasis on mindfulness and acceptance-based behavioral therapies. To augment the learning process, trainees will have exclusive access to training videos that showcase empirically validated treatment principles for prevalent outpatient concerns, including anxiety and mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, disordered eating, and self-harm/suicidal ideation. This comprehensive approach equips trainees with the necessary tools to address a wide range of psychological challenges commonly encountered in outpatient settings.

As part of the program, trainees will have the invaluable opportunity to work with standardized patients, gaining hands-on experience in real-world scenarios. Additionally, each trainee will carry a small caseload of approximately 10 clients, providing fee-for-service sessions with compensation.

This training program offers the flexibility of either full-time or part-time employment. This allows trainees to maintain employment with other organizations while expanding their clinical expertise.
