She has served as a DBT parent coach for families participating in DBT, holds regular parent-focused sessions to help parents strengthen skills and communication while their children are in therapy, and provided consultation services in a public school, where she collaborated with school personnel to develop behavioral plans and strategies to help teachers and parents support children’s emotion regulation and social functioning. Dr. Haller is committed to evidence-based practice, reflected in her scholarly contributions, including co-authoring a chapter in Binge Eating: A Transdiagnostic Psychopathology and publishing peer-reviewed articles on eating and weight-related issues.

Parents who work with Dr. Haller can expect a collaborative, direct, and practical approach. She provides clear strategies and tools while respecting each family’s unique values and circumstances. Using a non-pathologizing lens, she partners with parents to identify what may be interfering with change and to develop effective strategies that foster resilience, clarity, and informed decision-making. At the heart of her work with parents, Dr. Haller is passionate about equipping families with the skills and knowledge they need to make informed choices. She believes that when parents are supported with effective strategies, they can approach their role with peace and purpose, giving their child the best opportunity to thrive.
