Dr. Amy Lichon is an osteopathic trained physician with an intuitive understanding that true health doesn’t start in pills or procedures—it begins in the body, in the breath, and in how we relate to ourselves. Her journey has led her from the world of traditional medicine to a path of embodied healing, where she now focuses on the often-overlooked basics that contribute to real transformation: functional breathing, frequency based tools, and toxin-free body care.
While carving out a career as an anesthesiologist of 27 years, she is an athlete at her core and a seeker of high performance. She played tennis for Miami University, then transitioned into the world of triathlon after residency and is an accomplished multiple winning triathlete, including a Hawaii Ironman finisher. She is now taking up her latest sports challenge of surfing.
Dr Amy is blessed to be a mom to two incredible teenagers, who keep her curious and inspired. Her favorite activities with them are typically outdoors (no surprise) from the mountains of Colorado where she resides to the beaches of Costa Rica.
She is also the creator and founder of Courami (Coor-Ah-Mee) a company that focuses on natural health through non-toxic body care, breathwork and Lifewave phototherapy.
Her mission is simple: to remind you that your body is not a problem to solve, but a sacred place to live, breathe, and thrive.
