Dr. Lee-Rowland is a post-doctoral resident in clinical psychology working under the supervision of Rizwan Ahmad, Psy.d. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with her Ph.D. in clinical psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Internship Consortium. As an intern, she received training in a variety of clinical settings, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, an outpatient clinic that provides multidisciplinary services to families of children with developmental disabilities, an outpatient mental health clinic, and a juvenile court in Memphis, Tennessee.
Throughout her training, Dr. Lee-Rowland primarily worked with children and adolescents and provided an array of clinical services including comprehensive clinical, developmental, neuropsychological and forensic evaluations; structured intakes; consultation; and individual and family therapy. She used a variety of therapy modalities when working with her clients including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents (DBT-A). Dr. Lee-Rowland is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and their families meet their therapy goals through the use of evidence-based treatments that are tailored to their particular needs and values. She is warm, empathetic, and strives to provide her clients with a welcoming and collaborative environment to work through whatever difficulties they may be facing.
