Kristina Jones, M.A., LAPC, is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and practices under the supervision of Dr. Riz Ahmad. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculate University and has diverse experiences with adolescents and adults at various clinics and settings.
Kristina’s journey to the mental health profession exemplifies a rich, nonlinear path. Her diverse background began with her graduation from Syracuse University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. She served as an officer in the 21st Civil Engineering Squadron at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. Following her military service, Kristina embarked on a new mission: raising her family. For 17 years, she dedicated herself to homemaking and shaping the lives of her four children, gaining invaluable insights into family dynamics, child development, and the intricacies of balancing personal and professional responsibilities.
