Dr. Andrew Keenan is a licensed psychologist and Board Certified in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). He  earned his Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Keenan completed his post-doctoral residency at  Center for Integrated Behavioral Health (CIBH). Prior to joining our practice at CIBH, Dr. Keenan completed an APA-accredited, pre-doctoral internship at Rutgers University Counseling, ADAP & Psychiatric Services (Rutgers CAPS).

Throughout his training, Dr. Keenan’s training has emphasized the application of evidence-based treatments, with a particular emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). When appropriate, he also integrates concepts from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness. His primary areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders.

When working with his clients, Dr. Keenan strives to understand each client’s unique strengths, challenges, goals, and values. This information is utilized to collaboratively plan treatment, which Dr. Keenan approaches in a manner that balances establishing a warm and empathic therapeutic relationship with a scientifically-informed approach to practice.
